http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fspi7G3HfwA
Also, we are playing a show at Oldfields on High in Columbus on the 12th of this month with the Vericos, hope we see some friends there,
have a great summer and enjoy the weather!
who's ready for spring? - April 1, 2008
Hope your April brings good times, we are still in the long process of writing, recording new stuff, and we are having a blasty blast as they say!
We want to wish everyone the best and thanks for stopping by!
Have yourself a merry Christmas! - December 15, 2007
We are enjoying being snowed upon here in Ohio, the first snows are always the best!!
We hope you, your family and friends have a wonderful Christmas!
We have had some nice bloggers write about us some more...check our myspace for the links!
If you are having trouble picking out the right gift for that special someone, maybe you should buy them a Bel Auburn CD, or buy them a blank disk and give them a piece of paper that says our website address and tell them to download our music for free and burn it on a disk, either way it's something....just throwing out ideas!
Have a very merry Christmas!!!
Two New Shows - August 4, 2007
We've been gone awhile, it seems. So, we fixed it. Two shows that we will be playing over on the Shows page.
Thanks again.
ohioing - July 30, 2007
Thanks to all of you in your continuance of recording-buying. Next scheduled show is the 2nd weekend in sepember in cincinnati. (Cincinnatus returned from battle to plow his land. We have some band peppers growing as well.) More to follow.
Love and peace and growth and all thanks for listening.
Working - July 28, 2007
We met a guy the other night named Richard Chaney. We think it was a lousy disguise. He denied everything. We tried to make him listen to our music, but he just walked away muttering something that sounded a lot like 'gitmo'.
Anyway, we're recording. And writing. And preparing for a fall full of shows. Or, at least, partially full of shows (we want to enjoy the leaves, after all).
Thanks to everyone in Chiba, Japan who bought our CD this week. Much love. Also, a little shout out to our new friend Oroon, in India.
Everyone keep up the global love. We dig.
Thanks for listening.
UN - wait for it - BELIEVABLE - June 14, 2007
Seriously.
Seriously.
This is the third time we in Ohio have been second to some other state this year. That has to count for something. Seriously.
We need to get our quarter redone. Forget the whole "kitty hawk" business. We need a big trophy dedicated to our home, the "Runner Up State".
Seriously.
Anyway, we are still writing songs. Recordings will come soon. We'd love to say that the ensuing CD will be about "winning" and all the acoutrements inherent therein.
But, things are as they are, and you'll just have to see how the CD turns out.
:)
Thanks for 'here's looking up'.
Thanks for 'there's always next year'.
Thanks for 'second's better than last'.
Above all, thanks for listening.
Almost summer - May 6, 2007
We have songs. Songs and songs and songs. And we're going to record them. Then draw pictures. And then give it all to you.
Very soon.
In the meantime, we write songs in our basement and work jobs. We're very thankful for the warmer weather and the end of another Ohio winter. We're rooting for the Cavs, the Indians, the Browns, and anøther season of Studio 60.
Take care. We hope to see you all soon.
Seriously? - April 2, 2007
Twice in one year? Twice. In one year.
Twice.
Ohio's hard enough to manage without these sort of losses.
Anyway, hope all is well. We're, um , okay, I guess.
We hope you are well. We're currently getting ready to go back into the studio, as well as holding out for field hockey season next year. Hopefully those two things pan out a little better . . .
Thanks for your collective mourning for our state . . .
greetings from the road - February 16, 2007

One from Italy: - January 13, 2007
And one we missed . . . - January 10, 2007
O - H - Oh, No - January 8, 2007
As if it's not tough enough being from Ohio.
Worst football game ever.
We might just move somewhere else.
We blame it on the Fox coverage.
Anyway, new show posted at the "Shows" page. More to come.
Hope your year is starting out better than ours.
Peace.

Italian for Moron - October 6, 2006
First off, you remember when we said we didn't like feeling dumb? Well, we're dumb. And we don't like it.
Seems that we got our Romantic languages all mixed up and posted a link to a Spanish blog post about our album within the context of a request to translate the thing from Italian.
So, we feel dumb.
But not dumb enough not to still be curious.
Here's the right one:
http://www.indieforbunnies.com/2006/09/27/bel-auburn-lullaby-in-a-c/
Translation, please. CDs for the helpful.
Also, CDs and t-shirts for everyone who called us dumb but stopped short of laughing at us (just let us know who you are).
Peace.
banda de Ohio, Estados Unidos - October 3, 2006
We need a bit of help: Italian, Anyone?
We took Latin, Spanish, French, and a bit of Street back in school, but despite our best intentions, we never learned how to translate this:
http://www.zonaindie.com.ar/recorrida-internacional-3/es/
If anyone can send us an accurate translation (to jared@belauburn.com), we'll send you out two CDs, a button, and even a handmade t-shirt of your chosen size and color.
We're very curious to see what the Italians are saying about us.
Also, we were the top band on MyNetwork's indie band list last week. Our song "How Not to Get Caught" was featured on the CW Network's "Desire" last week, and the subsequent response was fairly overwhelming.
Thirdly, fall has come and we are enjoying not sweating to death.
And, well, that's all the news that's fit to print. Also, we're dead serious about the Italian thing. We feel very dumb, and we hate when that happens. We got a whole bag of swag for the first person to give us an accurate translation.
Thanks for listening. And translating.
Happy mid-Sept - September 14, 2006
Show next week in Cincy. We also have a song on an episode of the new telenovella "Desire" that will be on at some point. Watch the show (practically) every night on The CW (formerly UPN) and listen for us.
Secondly, blogs still trickling in with mentions of us. Look around and let us know about any that might have slipped under our oberservations. Man, we love bloggers. They are so kind.
Thirdly, we hope all is well.
Fourthly, thanks for listening.
Fifthly, take care.
We done got interviewed - August 18, 2006
